Residence Poseidon - Spartia (Kefalonia)

Everything was super clean apartments and grounds. The weekly BBQ fosters a sense of community among guests, while the honesty bar adds a unique touch to the experience.

Accessing the nearby beach entails a steep uphill walk back, which can be a workout in the Mediterranean heat. Limited kitchen utensils in the apartment may annoy those hoping to self-cater comfortably. Air conditioning incurs an extra fee, which can catch some off guard considering the expectation for climate control in such locations.

I've never had such a good breakfast in Greece before. Owner was very friendly and endeavored.

Beautiful location very close to Harbour with views of the sea. Based close to to centre, two bars and two shops in the local village square, and Spartia beach restaurants...

Really good customer service

The Residence Poseidon is a beautiful privately run small apartment complex in Spartia. The centre of the small village with restaurant, cafe and supermarket is about 5 minutes walk away. The pool complex is very well maintained and the pool is nice deep for swimming (up to 2.50 m). Our apartment was relatively small, but very well maintained. The landlord is very nice, we were spoiled free of charge with wine and the children with ice.

The accommodation was very clean, the view from the balcony to the sea was especially beautiful.

A few more kitchen utensils would have been helpful, e.g. a few sharp knives to cut.

The pool area was pristine and perfect for a relaxed family day. We also loved the fine view of Mount Ainos!

The hotel had a peaceful location, about 5 minutes' walk from the city centre. We ate at a WONDERFUL restaurant with lovely food very good prices. Very very helpful and caring staff, gave a lot of tourist information.

The access to the beach was dreadful and the limited kitchen utensils? You're kidding me! I almost expected a complimentary room upgrade for the hassle caused, but nope! This place is really not worth the hype they all seem to give it, let alone the price.

Limited kitchen utensils in apartments could leave self-catering guests frustrated!!! Additional charges for air conditioning may catch many off guard!!! A steep walk back from the beach might deter guests in the heat!!!

I found Residence Poseidon to be clean as new, with the beautiful garden areas and the pool inviting a sense of peace. The communal spaces are easily accessible, allowing seniors to enjoy the surroundings without any difficulties.

It was family-friendly with great amenities, but the beach access was steep.

Clean room, attentive staff, the kitchen equipped with everything needed for simple meals made our stay enjoyable and convenient, while the peaceful atmosphere and lovely pool area offered a perfect space to relax after our daily adventures.

Recommend it for a relaxing family getaway

The breakfast spread was a good way to start each day, like walking into a fresh bakery with options that included local pastries and fruits! Plus, the owner, Vangelis, is just a great guy, he even stopped by with some fresh fruits and local wine, feels like family!

It wasn't exactly cheap, but worth every penny.
